This project encompasses four distinct phases, along with a time and materials (T&M) component. The primary scope includes the replacement of 2,163 linear feet of steel sheet piling, secured with 50-foot tiebacks, and topped with a 4' x 6' concrete cap. The cap features a skirt extending 3'6" below its bottom edge to accommodate future vinyl fender installations. The work also includes the installation of new 36" pipe bollards and fenders. The T&M portion involves barge-based demolition of the old concrete deck and skirt wall surrounding the historic Ford Building, which required the removal of several thousand cubic yards of aged concrete.
