This project involved the construction of a 600-linear-foot commercial heavy lift cargo dock, featuring two outparcel mooring structures supported by 35" x 95' steel pipe pilings set on a batter. The scope also included 200 linear feet of bank revetment work and the development of a 9-acre bulk storage area with site lighting. Additional work comprised the construction of a new field house with restrooms and a perimeter roadway with a new entrance. The project included dredging 155,000 cubic yards to a depth of -44 feet. A change order introduced an Impressed Current Cathodic Protection System to protect the steel sheet piling. The dock construction utilized over 9,000 cubic yards of post-tensioned concrete, 800 linear feet of steel sheet piles (65' to 95' in length), 950 concrete piles (16" x 85'), and 1,000 steel H-piles of the same dimensions.
