The Icon Marina Village project involved the construction of a 615-foot seawall and a 10’ x 250’ floating dock. With multiple high-rise residential buildings being constructed simultaneously by other contractors, all marine activities were conducted via barge. The project began with the demolition and removal of existing upland and marine structures, followed by the construction of a 615-foot seawall using HZ king piles and NZ-26 and NZ-19 sheet piles, capped with a 2-foot high concrete cap. The seawall was protected by underwater riprap boulders, while a groin section was bordered by a new riprap mangrove planting area. Upland riprap breakwaters were installed to safeguard the beach. After offsite fabrication, MarineTek Floating Docks were delivered and installed, completing the project.
