La Quinta Terminal

This project involved the excavation of material from designated areas and its transport to the BUS6 site, a remote offshore location in Corpus Christi Bay. The material was used to fill and shape mitigation and protection berms within Cell F, adhering to a specified template, with additional material excavated from DMPA 14. This work was part of preparations for planting seagrass, including shoal grass (Halodule wrightii) in Cells E and D, and smooth cord grass (Spartina alterniflora, Type 1) on the Cell F and existing Phase I mitigation berms. The project scope also included post-plant monitoring, preparation of monitoring plans and reports, replanting as needed, environmental protection, erosion control, construction surveying, and site cleanup.
