New Port Fishing Pier

This project involved the demolition and removal of the existing 600-foot Newport fishing pier and restaurant, followed by the construction of a new pier. The reconstruction included installing 24" x 24" x 120' concrete piles, poured-in-place concrete pile caps, and prefabricated/pre-stressed double T concrete deck slabs. The new pier features PVC-coated aluminum handrails, ADA-compliant fishing areas, navigational lighting, and a saltwater distribution system. Additionally, the restaurant facility was built with CMU block construction, hurricane windows, and includes a bait shop, bathrooms, and a fully equipped kitchen, along with mechanical and electrical rooms and beach restoration.
