This project involved the construction of an 1,800-linear-foot combination wall with soil anchors and a 10-foot high concrete cap, with 800 linear feet positioned upland of the existing structure. The scope included dredging 18,000 cubic yards from Slip #3 to a depth of -35 MLLW, paving 1,400 square yards with asphalt, and installing 7,000 square yards of 18-inch concrete slabs. A new water distribution and drainage system, including 1,200 linear feet of trench drain, was installed along with a 1,000 kVA electric power distribution system. The project also featured the installation of new beam and rail tracks for a 110-ton gantry conveyor, which was relocated to new tracks while keeping the south berth operational. Additionally, two RO-RO ramps, measuring 80 feet and 160 feet, were constructed, each with a concrete cap extending 3 feet from the bulkhead.
